I’m a teacher and I’m enjoying the two-week break for Winter. I was hoping to get the engine started, but that’s not going to happen yet. I also spent HOURS struggling to get four rolling tires and that effort came to naught. I did get it registered though. I decided that in order to have a proper project, I needed a proper work space, so I got to work cleaning up the garage and, keeping the garage more Oppo, I did first things first: Make a place for the laptop and get the sound system hooked up! Gimme some bookshelf speakers any day and dump all of that surround sound crap.

$20 at a yard sale. Many features I do not need, but there’s a volume knob...

Tico clips. Indespensible.

I also installed the orange hook so Mrs. O.C. could store her new weed trimmer, which Santa brought her for Christmas. Santa did his research and this bad boy came out on top in all of the reviews.

The classic bookshelf speaker from a trusted brand. I think I gave $20 for the pair in a yard sale.

Keep the posts coming. Some time I’ll post garage pics. Mine is very Oppo.

I called a GM parts counter to see what they had for take-off wheels and turns out the old-timer behind the counter has a large collection of GM steel wheels and he’s going to see what he has this weekend.

Nice! Wish I had my own place and a garage, but alas, I still live at home....no room for a project yet, so still waiting for my FIAT 126 :(

Wow! Old-school door!

I spent a bunch of time this summer getting my garage usable. I didn’t get where I wanted to, but made huge progress. It was time well spent.
